To let the payment of your sins be done freely by Jesus. He already paid for them, all that is needed is to trust in Him that He did so. God is Holy and will not let sinners into Heaven unless they have laid their sins on Jesus. Jesus also gives us His righteousness in place of our own which is worthless for salvation. Jesus did everything needed, we need only trust in Him. If we do not let Jesus pay for our sins, we must pay for them forever in Hell. I would rather be with God who loves me and died for me and has wonderful things for us that eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has entered into the mind of man what they may be.

i agree. sometime we need to focus on how to live now rather than what happens after we die.

Yes we do go straight to heaven when we die.

2co 5:8 -We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Heb 9:27 -And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (of whether you accpeted Jesus or not, so that you either go to Heaven or Hell, to wait for the Judgement Seat of Christ or the Great White Throne judgement)

Everything you do today will effect your tommorrow,your next week ,your next year etc.
Your choices today and what you now know of Christ, will effect your eternity.
It's one does with the choices he is confronted
It's like this, Joe see's you with symptoms of a disease that is fatal and you are ignorant of the fact, He comes to you and confronts you with this knowledge,what will say,hey joe,I just want to think about today and not take your advice right now

That logic is merely mental gymnastics, the subject of God,sin,Jesus,hell ,judgement has never been a favorite among secular society,but we all will confront it someday,willing or unwillingly

There will be no excuses,although many will come up with them,when He comes ,the bible says Rom 3:18 every mouth will be stopped and all the world become guilty before God

Man has always known enough of God to make a decision ,by not choosen, one has already made his choice
Romans 1:20,states ,For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

God has made known himself to all mankind
Rom 1:19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them.

The law is written on man's heart, their conscience knows it, con = "with" science = knowledge, with knowledge men sin against God
Rom 2:15Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another
