In the presence of that which represents good, all objects and creatures produce a form of that which represents evil. However, in the absense of that which represents good, all objects and creatures are enveloped in that which represents evil. Think about it and you'll find that this is true. |

Namaste and welcome to the forums!
I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you're saying. I do not percieve all objects and creatures producing a form representing evil, either in the presence of good or without. What it seems like you're saying is that all objects and creatures are inherently evil. Wouldn't that make that which represents good evil, as well, as it is an object or creature?

From the beginning the purest form of that which represents good has been Light, and therefore naturally the purest form of that which represents evil has been Darkness since it is the opposite of Light.
Now if you think about it, there is no object or creature that does not produce a shadow, which is a form of Darkness, of some form in the presence of Light. And in the absense of Light there is only Darkness. ![]() |

For some reason I don't find evil the opposite of good. What is evil and what is good is entirely arbitrary, and every single moral a person holds can be debated.
Animals kill their own kind all the time. Does that make them evil? If we were degrated to our primitive lifestyles, we may have to use greed, murder, theft, and and lying as a way to survive. But I'm probably missing the point of this. Anyway, I agree there can be no shadows without light, therefore 'evil', or darkness, will always exist as long as there is light

As long as you have a mind, evil will always have a door to knock upon.

Evil does not actually exist. It is a reflection of human beings sinful nature. If you are in a pitch black cave, one match is all it takes for there to be light in that cave. We have desires, and there are times when these desires may overcome each one of us! But if you have a glimmer of good, that is all it takes for you to overcome your desire and not let it control you. We can only do this with God's help.

i thought about this for awhile and i think i understand -
like if i was up against someone that was awesomely good like Mother Theresa then all of my flaws and bad would be evident -- then if i was up against someone that was really bad like a criminal i would have alot more in common with them then i would want to admit -- which is not good but it is the truth -- i am not a criminal but i have done bad things and i can be really devious sometimes-- so yeah that was cool it made me think you are right it is true |
