Default I Ching

The I Ching is based off of the natural way the universe works. Is the natural way so universal that one can tell the future by understanding this way? What do you think? Does this contradict the taoist view of change? Or does the I Ching stem from our knowledge of that Tao by chi gung?

You'll have to forgive my ignorance, but what is the taoists stance on change? To a taoist change is always happening, always taking place, correct?

So are you asking that if the natural way is consisitent, that it does not ever change?

I'm having a little trouble understanding your question. Could you please elaborate a little? Thanks.

Thats what I was wondering. The taoists view is that the only thing infinite in this universe is change. So even the natural way changes even in the slightest bit. So basically, is the i ching valid then? Or is it just a method of understanding the present to better prepare for the future?
