is there a ceremony that taoists go through? (like baptism for christians) <-- thats the only ceremony that i have ever done bc i was raised that way -- i know that there are more for different religions and i was just wandering about this one. |

In religious taoism there are many ceremonies. And they differ according to culture. But for the most part, you don't have to go through any cermony to become taoist. Especially because for the majority of taoists, it is seen more as a philosophy and way of life than a religion.
