Tao is many things to many beings.

Taoists, realise and cultivate the oneness with Tao that we all are but few find, it can be found through other religions and philosophys, i have known, Krishnas to have it,m christians to haev it, muslims etc.

Yin Yang, are opposing, comlimentry forces, and as such are not so easily pigeon holed.


Taoism basically is about letting go of self, and realising true self ( inner self) releasing ideas of worthiness, and being one with all beings.


also especially true if we read the works of chuang tzu, Taoism is about a sense of humour

2. WHEN all the world recognises beauty as beauty, this in itself is ugliness. When all the world recognises good as good, this in itself is evil. Indeed, the hidden and the manifest give birth to each other. Difficult and easy complement each other. Long and short exhibit each other. High and low set measure to each other. Voice and sound harmonize each other. Back and front follow each other. Therefore, the Sage manages his affairs without ado, And spreads his teaching without talking. He denies nothing to the teeming things. He rears them, but lays no claim to them. He does his work, but sets no store by it. He accomplishes his task, but does not dwell upon it. And yet it is just because he does not dwell on it That nobody can ever take it away from him.

Yay!!! more taoists we shall one day be more than 5 or 6 . What sort of Taoist are you? Philosophical? Religious? Is there a strong Bhuddist or other religious influence that compliments your Taoist studies.

i hestitate to label... but i suppose philosophical Taoist, ish, kind of.


i have read much in buddhism, and pagan beleifs, but i mainly now feel the Tao, and see messages in everday life, the more at one i feel the more the blindfolds fall from the inner eyes
