I would love for the Dutch to win. I've always had a soft spot for them. OTOH, if France win then we Scots can feel a little smug at beating the champs home and away in qualifying.

Since there are so many Polish immigrants here I've also started following their fortunes. Jak sie masz!

Yeah, since the Scots didn't get in, I'm rooting for France. I have a soft spot in my heart for Scotland, and root for them as if they're the home team. France is my second team, as I majored in French in college and have been there several times. I'm half Polish, too, so that would be cool too. Basically I'm saying I'm with you on all fronts.

Also, maybe for the future, if you post results from the day, maybe let's put "Spoilers" well ahead in the post. I will probably watch some of the games on Tivo instead of live, so that would help. For instance, I'm going to watch the Germany-Poland match tonight.
