I've "known" a grand total of 2 SDAs, both online. One was an intelligent, thoughtful, insightful, and remarkably patient young man who I respect a good deal. The other is a complete nutcase that I ignore completely.

I know little of the details of your denomination, and will judge you according to your posts.

Honestly, I have little interest in the doctrinal differences amongst Christian denominations. There's just too many of y'all. I take it one conversation at a time.

I dont know much about your denomination. Honestly, I felt that I rejected "Christianity" ... so there's no real reason to learn different parts of it. However, I'm willing to understand it from your point of view... since the only one I've ever had is, "SDA are evil and cultish, like mormons... and they dont celebrate anything" ...this is complete crap, I realize... and that's why I disliked Christianity.

Seriously guys.... denominations fighting over such trivial things? There's only one Yeshua right?

I would say that the sabbath day worship is the most important doctrine to the SDA for it is how they differentiate between themselves and the rest of christendom who by going to church on sundays are worshipping the beast, at least according to my study by mail.

The fighting is mostly about interpretation. I have met many sincere people and friends who plainly put their own interpretation to scripture and admit doing so. This is where the confusion comes from. Churches build an entire doctrine on one passage or verse of scripture and THAT is why there are so many denominations.
Also, to clear things up, the Sabbath worship is not the most important of our doctrine and belief. Following the bible and scripture instead of popular tradition is our doctrine. We believe that TRUTH is our weapon and are fierce advocates for the validity and sacredness of the holy scriptures. We believe in NOT putting man's interpretation into it but letting it interpret itself, this is how we find truth.
