Iron (pronounced /ˈаɪɚn/) is a chemical element with the symbol Fe (Latin: ferrum) and atomic number 26. Iron is a group 8 and period 4 element. Iron is a lustrous, silvery soft metal. It is one of the few ferromagnetic elements.
Iron and nickel are notable for being the final elements produced by stellar nucleosynthesis, and are therefore the heaviest elements which do not require a red giant or supernova for formation. Iron and nickel are therefore the most abundant metals in metallic meteorites and in the dense-metal cores of planets such as Earth. The core is nuclear!

Both cold fussion as well as fission and fussion but not conforming to current chemical descriptions. Meaning the chemical idea of protons and electrons is not the proper decriptions since all mass is simply energy itself; there are no particles in these forms to 'angular momentum.'

They suggested that all particles had no mass just after the Big Bang. As the Universe cooled and the temperature fell below a critical value, an invisible force field called the ‘Higgs field’ was formed together with the associated ‘Higgs boson’. The field prevails throughout the cosmos: any particles that interact with it are given a mass via the Higgs boson. The more they interact, the heavier they become, whereas particles that never interact are left with no mass at all.

And to this day not a one higgs boson has ever been found.

Iron was formed when the star before ours went supernova, our sun is a second generation star that was birthed from the debris of the first.

Iron was one of the elements that was present after the supernova, being quite heavy it collected at the centre of the newly forming planets. Earth has an awful lot of iron because during our planet's formation a second planet collided with us, we stole most of the iron core from that planet while the rest of it became our moon.

It's why we have such a strong electromagnetic field.

No, we had a lot of our own iron, but while the Earth was still a big swirling ball of liquid another planet collided with us fusing the two planets into one, although much of the second planet was ejected back into space forming the moon.

For as long as the Earth has been the Earth as we know it i.e. its current size and shape, we've had all the iron we still do. It didn't rain from space.
