I apologize for using 'point of view' in my post. I was referring to the knowledge gained through differing points of knowledge, documentary, historically, physically, etc. The differing 'points of view' the gospels portray are all the same underlying story. There is no other point of knowledge that can help confirm that story, only the documentary one.

Paul Bunion, Achilles and Odysseus' stories all suffer from the same problem. Not to mention glaring contradictions to the reality we know. It seems that it all boils down to trust. Do you trust the author(s) or not? How can we evaluate the trustworthiness of what is said? This is where the other points of knowledge are key in evaluating truth.
