False. Eventually all the photons in the beam of light would go astray and gradually there would be no reflection left.

There was a story in the news not too long ago about a small town in Europe... Italy maybe?... that used two giant mirrors on the mountain top to reflect sunlight onto the town. As for the universe? You would not live long enough to see it light up...
