Hey Gen. 1 speaks about the Spiritual (soul) creation and Gen. 2 about the Physical which was not numbered so we don't actually know how long the physical creation took. (Gen 1:11-19) then God said (words are spiritual remember) "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and fruit tree that yields seed according to its kind, whose seed is in itself on the earth"; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the third day. Then God said, " Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and the let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and the divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Notice that on the 3rd day it is written that He created the plants but only on the 4th day day does He create the sun and moon. How can you have plants without sunlight? God created time and idea of what a day is not man. When its says that a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is but as a day to God that means that time has no meaning before the Eternal one. Time is our teacher which works of the idea of the negative and positive Time being the darkness and The Truth being the Light. The darkness emphasizes the Light. Without time only the Eternal Truth exist.
