If scientists could somehow prevent free radicals from harming cells, I think that would be a good step in slowing down aging. People will still be susceptible to health problems though. Heart disease for example. Those arteries have to get clogged sooner or later...

Our population's putting quite a strain on the Planet even at our alloted threescore and ten. No-one seems inclined to stop breeding. If we all lasted a thousand years how would the planet support such numbers?

Here:
Sapoins form the white blood cell content, from the bone marrow.....these are found in Horse chestnuts and Bach also made a list of things that contain them, which is what we can make the real bread of life out of. Though science is well behind on any of this they have discovered horse chestnut will stop varicose veins and are experimenting.

Life is beautiful in its brevity. It makes every moment precious and not to be squandered. I would not take the treatments even if they existed. I agree with the others that it would be an environmental disaster, if our population, consumption and pollution hadn't already been drastically reduced.

Death passed upon all men after the fall in Genesis. The Bible does offer some insight into how to live longer. One way is found in Ephesians 6:1-3 and is the first commandment with a promise: "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth."
Interestingly Scripture says nothing about eating right or exercising to increase length of life. There is an admonition against gluttony as well as saying that whatever you do do it with all of your might which sounds like exercise to me. Another example comes from I Kings 3:14, "And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I willlengthen thy days."

Scientist have already admitted that they see no reason why human cells age and eventually die out. The human body was made to regenerate itself and live forever. So, obviously, humans die for the very reason God said they would--because our first human parents disobeyed his commandment. God passed judgment on humans, therefore he is the only one who can undo that. When Jesus was on earth he preached about the healing benefits that his Kingdom would bring, one of which is no more aging or death. Read the gospel.

I do agree aging is natural, not a disease. But, I would take the treatment as soon as it was available, if it existed. My knees would be dead and in desperate need of replacement by the end of 200 years, but too live a life of what seems immortality. I find it fascinating.
