Describe sentience? A gray area, that seems rather philosophical.
Describe values? No. Science describes the universe in objective terms. Values are internal to people, and are subjective.

I don't have a problem with Science. I have a problem when people mistakenly believe that Science will replace God or make God obsolete. Again, as soon as the Science of the Gaps resolves the middle East crisis, I will convert!

And you know it is mistaken how? And why do you claim the Middle East Crisis is a SCIENTIFIC problem?

And need I point out all the times throughout recorded history where science has replaced God and made him obselete by providing a scientific, testable and repeatable explanation for things which could only be explained by invoking a god before?

Sounds like ALL of history. Of course we rely on our cultural snobbery to discount history which inconveniently pokes holes in our theories... It's like trimming those puzzle pieces to get them to fit. Actually, it's throwing them OUT because you lack the understanding to sort them out.

No, History is just describing events. Miracles are people interpreting events as the actions of God because they don't know any better. Hardly the case with all of history. People understood the moonlandings. They understood Woodstock.

Love. Pure and simple. The real miracle is love.

Which you are defining as a miracle that can only be caused by God to support your cause. I do not see evidence that love is caused by God.
