Physics is beautiful. Religion is beautiful. Both suffer when you try to make one fit into the other.

I have to disagree. It sheds light on false claims of supernatural events and has rendered many religious beliefs null and void.

Also, i don't like the idea that we can put a limit on the possible accomplishments of science.
In 10,000 years we may very well have a new field of science reliant on what is now totally unknown technology or physics, that may very well prove or disprove the existance of spiritual concepts.

And by then I will have finished my masterpiece! A literary critique of the quadratic equation in iambic pentameter.

If science and theology don't have room for each other, then both are wrong. Eventually, the one true scientific doctrine will not only explain, but prove the essence of spiritual beliefs to be true.

Science can proof itself correct with experiments, however science's biggest mistake has been to avoid the biggest questions. 100 years ago, the thought of a black hole was laughable (and those who present facts about them were laughed at), yet now we know they exist because of their effect on unrelated phyical bodies such as nearby stars. Science as a community has not approached UFO phenomena, spiritual phenomena, nor psychic phenomena as a whole.

How then can we trust science when it runs from the greatest questions man has to offer?

String theory can bridge a gap between science and theology because it leads to the doorway of things existing outside the known physical realm.

On the theology side, its the rampant misinterpretation of who and what God is that makes it seem at odds with science. The truth is that the laws of nature are what directly govern existence as we know it. If we make God an intelligent designer then he exists within the laws of nature and he is not the originator. However, all laws must be set by some lawmaker. The God of the bible that walks and talks and looks down (from a physical place - above) and sits on thrones is a God doing human things. The God of the garden of Eden had to ask Adam where he was instead of already knowing. This version of God does not represent the one who set the laws of nature, this God is living according to them. he may be an intelligent designer, but he is not the one who presented us with existence as we know it.

True science and true theology will be equal. The string theory will help mankind get to that point.

I'd like to think that one day they would corroborate each other.

If this be the crux of your argument, it fails in a failure to understand that 7 or more dimensions do describe a physical world.

A physical world does not lead to a supernatural world. If it did, we would have enough today, without string theory, to get us there.

Thank you pah. You are missing my meaning.

If you look at physics very closely, it already tells us that physical existence is an illusion. All physical things relate to each other by forces. And at the quantum level, we find that physical things are really forms of energy (E=MC2). So even on a scientific level, physical reality is ruled by a non-physical reality.

If we begin to apply this knowledge to spiritual matters, we realize that breaking the barriers of time and space is not impossible spiritually. Angels warning Joseph of future events in a dream is not impossible, nor Moses appearing to Jesus over a thousand years later with a very bright aura, as if he hasn't aged a day. It's science's shortcoming not to look into spiritual matters for guidance into the realities of existence because the answers are already there.

Eventually, mankind will find that the advances in technology which he seeks already exists in the minds and hearts of men. We can already do amazing things like travel interdimensionally, but bad religion and severe spiritual misguidance has halted man's progression.

Ultimately, there is no difference between science and true spiritual teachings.

True Spiritual Teachings? What are true spiritual teachings? And on what authority do you define them as such?
