If time travel is possible on the physical plane, then any Religions we know of today would be wrong, simple because if it is possible to go back and forth through time, there would litterally be millions of copies of yourself, one for each "time frame." I will define time frame as the smallest amount of time possible, which would be several times faster than a nano-second. So if there is one of you for each time frame, then you would also have millions of your own soul, if you believe in that. And if time travel is possible on the physical plane, it would mean it is possible on the spiritual plane, beyond the mer viewing of an event, but actually time traveling as a spirit. This would mean there would be an infinite amount of copies of you. So I think for the "Time Frame" reasons, time travel is impossible.
If you go into the past to change something it wouldn't be the first time, but rather the second. Say if you take 2nd street instead of Dixon, and you endup in a car wreck. In the future, you go back to somehow make yourself take Dixon. But when you get back to your present, the car wreck never happened, meaning that allthough you was in a wreck, you didn't go through it, because before you took 2nd street, youre future copy came to the present, and made you take Dixon instead. It is for paradoxes like this that I believe time travel is impossible.

God see's all, and is everywhere at once from the beginning to the end,
Hbr 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things [are] naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to give an account Pro 15:3 The eyes of the LORD [are] in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Job 34:21For his eyes [are] upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings. Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love Ecc 12:14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil. If i watched the brief life of an ant, from it's birth to it's death, which I INFLICTED, including every move, every bit of work it did, would it be safe to say time stands still for me, or is non existent, no need to travel in time if l can see all things.beginning and end. As God claims to see our going out and coming in Last edited by roli; 05-02-2005 at 07:43 AM. |
