Oh, DOESN'T HE!!!!!!!!! So does Pluto, but with the more you have the more names you call them both!!!!!! The more things you think they are!!! HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!! Maybe that is why Pluto has changed "names" so often; The IAU doesn't belong to AAA!!!!!!!!! HA HA HA~!

Bear in mind though, the characteristic that was used to disqualify Pluto (having a clear orbit) was used only in Pluto's case. If they applied that rule to all the planets, there would be NO planets in the system cause none of them have a clear orbit.

I think it has to do with mostly clearing its orbit, there's nothing bigger than the Earth in our orbit, and not a lot smaller that could really do much damage.

As much as it pains me to have loose Pluto as a planet, I have to agree with the ruling.
There are a large number of 'Plutoids' in our system and having them all be planets would make it just silly to have to memorize them all. Unfortunately you can't make Pluto a special case... but you can name all the things like it in a group under its name. ![]() wa:do
