I was thinking about getting an mp3 player in the next month and I was wondering if anyone knew if a podcast would work on mp3 players?? I'd rather buy a cheaper mp3 player that holds more then a more expensive IPOD which holds less if I can get podcasts on the mp3 player. Any suggestions or know how on this?
Thanks! |

Any mp3 player will play a podcast.

I like the idea of podcasts but was thinking it would be silly if it didn't play on an mp3 player. Thanks so much for the help!!! ![]() |

I listen to podcasts on my computer or burn them to a CD and listen to them in the truck, so I don't know much about mp3 players or iPods, but all the podcasts I get from iTunes are in mp3 format.

iTunes has an amazing amount of FREE podcasts available Becky in a nice variety of music genres.....I play them on my home computer all the time. You can even schedule them to download automatically every Tuesday.

No, i dont think so. Apple DRMs podcasts so you cant play anything bought or downloaded at iTunes on another player. Unless you plan on taking your podcasts, burning em to a disk, then recoding em in mp3, .ogg(wont work on iPods), or some other format.
Have fun with the wolrd of DRM
