As long as they are some form of Christian, and the topic has "Christian" in the title, then it is OK.

A Christian debate on any topic in Christianity ought to be sufficient for the Christian debater to be a participant.

While it is true that members of the "Same faith" could necessarily agree/disagree on particular tenets of faith; yet it escapes me that members of the same faith would engage each other in a strong debating of any simple disagreement in belief. It seems to me that their sharing the same faith makes unnecessary any aggressive, substantive debating of the issues.

That "Christian" must be in the title to invite participation from a "Christian contributor" begs an answer to, what if "Christian" is "implied" but not stated in the title!

All threads in this forum must have the a religion stated in the title, be it Christian, Muslim, Unitarian Universalist, or can be more specific, such as Eastern Orthodox. I don't know why this is so difficult to understand.

If it says only "Christian" and not something more specific, then ALL Christians, no matter what denomination, can participate in that thread.

So if the topic is the Virgin Mary, Sacred tradtions, communion, commandments etc, no one may participate except Catholics or mainstream denominational protestants.??

It seems most on here are Christian which means they profess “Jesus Christ is God’s Son, the Savior.” with the exception of the fundamentalist Sects and or New Age Sects.

l

It depends on the what is in the title of the thread, which is up to the thread-starters discretion. If they want only Catholics to debate then they will put "Catholic" in the title. If it is open to all Christians, then they will put "Christian"

This isn't a difficult concept...... Why would one open a Same Faith Debate about Mary's perpetual Virginity, and only allow Catholics to participate???????? It would be a rather one-sided argument wouldn't it???

I have put to rest my argument; but do correct me if I am in error or have misunderstood your above quote.

As long as a religion is not stated in the "beginning " of the thread; and as long as the thread is "Christian" or "implied Christian" in its context...Then all who have declared themselves "Christian" in their profile, are welcome to debate in that "Same Faith" thread.

Am I correct?
