Theists: What should be proof enough?

There have been a couple of threads aimed toward atheists that ask what would constitute proof or evidence that God exists. Good question I think.

If you are a theist, what do you think should convince an atheist?

Only God himself, then I'm not convinced that would work for some. They would be too busy trying to figure out by using logic that this was only a hallucination, caused by a case of beer gone bad.

Yes, the difficulty is in determining how we know what is God himself.

Not to be sarcastic but sometimes I think the only way to prove God to most atheists would be for God to come down and talk to them. And even then, I am sure that at least some of them would say they were hallucinating.

Actually atheism really isn't a fevered resistance to god, but to dishonesty. But anyway, what's your answer to the OP?

To be perfectly honest, I don't know. The approach would probably be up to each individual. What would work for one person, would not work with another in proving God. I guess you (and I) would have to call it by ear.

Yes.

For some people, a burning bush would be enough to cause them to have faith in God, to others, it would just be enough to cause them to lose faith in their own sanity.
