If something comes to you in life apparently by chance or circumstance, by seemingly no will of anyone's, are you thankful for it? CAN you be thankful for it? If so, to what do you attribute thanks?

What a bizarre question.

On second thought, it's a great question!

When left to chance, bad fortune can come just as easily as good fortune. Should we thank the mystical coin toss from beyond?

I don't attribute thanks to anyone or anything for good chance events, just as I don't attribute blame to anyone or anything for bad chance events.

I'm glad for things, but I would only be thankful to someone or something if they were the cause. Like if it rained when I wanted it to rain, I'd just be happy, but not thankful.

Personally, I always thank the leprechaun on the front of the Lucky Charms box.
It is a little known fact that he is the God of Good Fortune.

What if you don't have any Lucky Charms at your house?? All we have is Fruity Pebbles.

I would recommend getting a box of Cheerios. At this point, they have not been assigned any particular connections, and they are the frontrunner for the "all around" title.
