I think of it more like a feeling of being fortunate, lucky or privileged than thankful.

I don't attribute thanks to anyone or anything for good chance events, just as I don't attribute blame to anyone or anything for bad chance events.

Fruity Pebbles are what you give thanks to if you have just met the homosexual person of your dreams.

I would recommend getting a box of Cheerios. At this point, they have not been assigned any particular connections, and they are the frontrunner for the "all around" title.
