Response: Khomeini has a book in which he mentions the excellence of the Imaams (Hassan and Hussein et al) of the family of the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) over and above the Prophets and the Messengers (`alayhim as-salaam); (So) based upon this (statement of his) he is not a Muslim.

I would rather expect that the declaration of who is and who is not a Muslim is up to Allah, not mere highly fallible men, but heck, that is just me. I am sure this will go a long way towards bridging the gulf between Sunni and Shia.

It is, in a way, up to Allaah 'azza wa jal. Allaah gave us the guidelines, and ordered that those with knowledge implement them. They're already seperated. The seperation between the true sect and the false ones occurred long ago, when the Prophet-salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam- said: "My Ummah will seperate into 73 sects, all in hell-fire except one; those who are upon what I and my companions are upon".

I dont think we have the right to call any Person who beleives in Allah and his Rasool SAWS a nin muslim even i am not a shitte I admire Ayatollah Kohmeini for his fatwas against the west, rushdie and My favovorite Ayatollahs quote: Message to the Arab World, Be united so that Israel do not dominate you.

What he did was even better than alot of our sunni Scholars who at least had the guts to face the west and now some people are calling this soldier of Allah a non-muslism, Brother you have literally spat at his good work.

regarding difference of opinion, do not let 100 good things go for a 1 bad thing, If he was wrong in this part, He will be accounted for. But my message to you is Unite

do you know brother in Pakistan among the Muslims, there are Kufr/Shirk beleives in almost all sects so are all of them Kufaar.
