Hello i guess i have a way different view on salvation than most of you have. I will try to give it a go in as few words as possible...applause.
![]() Jesus saved us on the cross. This gift of salvation was free, we did not earn it. The bible says we are saved through faith. It was through the faith you put in jesus to save you that he did just that on the cross. I believe that when he died he went to hell, and took the keys that held your spirit captive there, and transferred you into the kingdom of light (paradise). It is from here that you are incarnated onto this earth, and therefore, born again. You are born again onto this earth to testify to the truth that he saved you. Salvation does not depend on a game of chance. Salvation happened on the cross. Hence when you are born again onto this earth, your spirit now has the ability, which it did not have before, to overcome the wills of the flesh, hence you are a conqueror of the flesh. Only a spirit that is born from above is able to do this. So the evidence of salvation lies in the fact that you learn to conquer the flesh and you are successfull at it. The seed of god the bible says remains in you and you dont continue to sin. If you were not IN christ on the cross you were not raised in newness of life, and hence have no power of the flesh when you are born onto this planet. Who was IN christ on the cross? Those that had faith in him to save them, hence we are saved by grace (we did not deserve it) though faith (faith in him to save us). The spirit is eternal and i believe that the day jesus died, all men were drawn unto him like the bible says, and you were chosen in christ if you had faith in him. Hence predestination can only be true if you had faith in jesus to save you, not because god chose you to be saved. The act of dying for us was grace, but we had to have faith in jesus to do it. Faith hopes for those things it can not see, so when you had faith in jesus to save you, there was no evidence that you were going to be saved, but you had faith in him that he could and would. Without faith, it is impossible to please god. And so the bible says he saves who GOD pleases. So for me, once saved is always saved, only if you were IN Jesus on the cross, and hence this life is where you live out your salvation with fear and trembling. Realising that it was a one time occurance, and jesus cannot go back and do it again. The bible says that god protects them, and none of them will perish. That which god saved is saved indeed. It does not mean that you are without discipline and correction from god. Infact if you are born again, born from above, every endeavour from god is attempted at making you mature. We have to mature, so that we have the character necessary to inherit the promises of god and be co-heirs with jesus christ. If you die and you have not matured enough, you come back here to mature further. The bible says that the end comes when they gospel has been preached all over the world as a TESTIMONY. The gospel does not save, it only testifies to the fact that you have been saved. When you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart, that that which the gospel is about is indeed the reality of your life, then it means you were IN christ on the cross and saved. When can you loose your salvation? When you are in heaven and turn against god. When you are with god, after he has promised to preserve you and make sure that you are not lost after placing your faith in jesus to save you, and like satan did, you turn away from him, there is no salvation left for you, and your end will be worse than your beginning. You will therefore be like satan, forever seperated from god as a spirit, and not as a human seperated from god due to the physical contraints of this planet. heneni |

"For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." (Hebrews 6:4-6) We can only experience the powers of the world to come when we are with god in heaven. The WOLRD which he is talking about in this scripture has not come for us yet, it will come when we are in heaven. A new heaven and a new earth, is the WORLD to come. Love Heneni |

Well, it was not a prerequisite that a person be truly born again to receive the gift (power) of the Holy Spirit: Acts 8:14-24 (King James Version) 14Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 15Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 17Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. 18And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 19Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. 20But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. 21Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. 24Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the LORD for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to open shame." So after displaying the powers of the Holy Spirit before the public so that they may believe, for one of these miracle workers to reveal that they were never truly converted, to again go before everyone to declare that this time their conversion is real, would be the same as crucifying jesus all over again. When one is born again their soul/spirit is translated (relocated). Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: (Col.1:13) To be in the spiritual kingdom is to be in the spiritual body: For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, (1Cor.12:13) For our soul/spirit to be in Christ for the continual cleansing of sins with His blood (Eph.1:3,7) we had to be born of the Spirit, which meant we were born again: Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (Jn.3:8-9) If we knew someone fairly well before they were born again, we can easily tell if their conversion was genuine afterwards. |

Heb 6:6 because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. I Hope this part of the Epistle of Paul were able to help. I did address this quote. It is the post just before yours! |
