Answer yes or no and state your reason why.
Just one reminder, the Jesus Christ that we are all familair with, his life and teachings, came from the BIBLE and no where else. hence, the bible must be the only reliable basis for this topic.

In a sense, yes. In another sense, no. I believe that anyone who sees Jesus Christ as his Savior and who tries to live in accordance with what Christ taught is a "Christian." On the other hand, I don't believe Catholics believe all of the same things as Baptists or that Baptists believe all of the same things as Latter-day Saints or that Latter-day Saints believe all of the same things as Orthodox Christians. There are over 30,000 different Christian denominations in the world today, each with varying beliefs and practices.

i dont think there is a single person today who understands the true message of the one they call jesus , the bible has been corrupted and manipulated to what it is today and the true message of a gallilean jew from 2000 years ago has been lost. what i mean is call yourself a christian if you like it has little to do with the religion of jesus

Yes. I call anyone a Christian who follows Jesus' (Yeshua's) commands. There are some denominations (Jehovah's Witnesses, for example) who don't want to be called Christians, but that is beside the point.
Granted some of these good folks don't believe that Jesus is God, and there is at least 2 denominations who believe that Jesus was nothing more than an angel. (I believe that Jesus was God). But as long as they follow Jesus' commands then I think they are considered Christians at least until I find out better (or if God comes down and tells me it isn't so. I am not good enough for God to consider doing that to.). ![]() The only think I have a problem with is when certain denominations say that they are the only denomination who is correct and all others are wrong. (and I know you didn't say that in the OP, I was just making a comment).

I don't think merely citing the Bible as source would be a definite enough argument for Catholics that people who call themselves Christians are of the same faith or not. You can find arguments for both sides by citing scripture. Am I right in this, Catholics?
