Oh, how I love the second chapter of Acts. They were not only baptized, but they REPENTED. They were FREED from the law and all formalizing of religion. They were given God's authority: the Holy Spirit, which was promised to ALL who believe. We don't need men telling us how or what to believe: we have the Spirit of the most high God dwelling in us.

How is this germain to the issue of the formalization of praxis?

This is where you draw the line:

Mat 5:18

"I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."

NOT THE SMALLEST LETTER WILL DISSAPPEAR FROM THE LAWS PERFECTED BY CHRISTS!!!

That is why paul specifically instructed the early christians of the bible to not go beyong what is written in his epistles and other apostle's gospels and epistles.

1 Cor 4:6

Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, "Do not go beyond what is written." Then you will not take pride in one man over against another.


Besides the prophet Isaiah prophesized that the book of the lord (the bible) will be complete.

Isaiah 34:16

Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

No. Paul required of them ONE THING: don't abandon or change the GOSPEL. I asked you earlier what the Gospel consisted of, but you ignored the request. THAT is the only thing that we can not change.

No where do the scriptures claim to be the word of God (they only claim to be INSPIRED by God: not written by God). In a like manner, they never ever claim to be without error. Please cite chapter and verse should you find a place where they say differently.

The Scriptures do claim that Jesus is the Word of God (John 1), and there are times where the prophets say that they are speaking the Word of God.

The gospel is the good news, written by the apostles who lived with Christs. Paul referred to all the apostles epistles and gospels when he said "do not go beyond what is written"

The Gospel is repeated many, many times. Jesus came and lived as a man. He was crucified and was risen on the third day. He gave us his Spirit and then ascended into Heaven where he intercedes for us on a daily basis. That's the condensed version. But... THAT'S THE GOOD NEWS; THE GOSPEL. Don't add to it, and don't even think about taking away from it!

Great verse. Now read what you DIDN'T underline: UNTIL EVERYTHING IS ACCOMPLISHED! What were Jesus' last words on the cross? "It is Finished!" What was finished? All that Jesus came to do! Wooooo Hooooooo. No more formal praxis needed! That includes YOUR formal praxis as well.

You are referring to the apostles. we don't his get the spirit right away.
