of course it is made up of priests, but the authority still has to be there.

not all who claim to be chrisitans have the proper authority.

that's lovely, Katz. i'd agree. if God is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, surely He can and will guide those who seek Him.

i've been having some interesting experiences lately, and i do feel that God is calling me. seek and you will find- God's call is irresistible.

I'm pretty sure MH's face was straight when he typed that, Pete. Having the gift of the Holy Spirit is not the same thing to many Christians as holding the same authority Jesus conferred upon His Apostles. Actually, the gift of the Holy Ghost/Spirit is not even received at baptism but by the laying on of hands. I know this is one area in which you and I disgree, and I'm not sure I'm up to arm-wrestling you tonight. Love ya anyway.
