Yes it does make it devoid. The Vachnamrut clearly states that such Bhakti is “vyarth”. Which means its devoid and useless. So if you do not follow/accept the word of God as it is, then the so-called Bhakti you do is devoid and not accepted by God. So you say these people who get intoxicated in the name of God and use that as a way to love God when God states they shouldn’t do this are fine in doing so? That God accepts their Bhakti? You need to read the Purans my friend. Not just that but the scriptures of Swaminarayan Bhagwan too. You seem lost. The sanatan dharm is not more of a way of life rather than a faith at all. I think you need to do more research into it. Its more about how to rid yourself of Maya and becoming brahm status and Loving God in his prescribed way. God looks at an Ekantik Bhakt not your character. You come out with childish remarks. How old are you?

You state the Sikshapatri but the Sikshapatri also states:

“My Bhramin, Kshatriya and Vaishya followers who have received Shri Krshna Diksha (initiation) from the Dharmavanshi (descendants of Dharmadev) Acharyas, shall wear a double tulsi kanthi (rosary) around their neck and shall wear a U-shaped tilak on their forehead, chest, and both harms.” (Shikshapatri Shlok 41)

In the Shikshapatri (62), Swaminarayan Bhagwan clearly states
“And the form of Shri Krshna that has been given by your Acharya for the purpose of your worship and the forms that the Acharya has installed (i.e. in the mandirs) are the only forms of God worthy of worship. The rest are worthy of respect but not worthy of worship”
Therefore, the only murtis (deities) worthy of worship are those installed by the Acharyas.

Shlok 71:
“All my followers shall never enter into debate with their Acharyas and shall serve the Acharyas with food, clothing, money etc according to their capacity.”
Shlok 72:
“Upon hearing of their coming, my followers should immediately go to greet and welcome the arrival of their Acharyas, and when the Acharya returns from the town my followers shall see them off to the outskirts of the town.”

So do you follow them?

The poor can't afford to donate as much as the more wealthier people, so therefore God states that they should donate half that of the wealthier person.

And I made a mistake in the sums, the wealthy and the better-off devotees are to donate 1/10 and the poor 1/20, that is, should you want to and consider yourself a devotee of God.

well as you agree to your childish behaviour may i point out that your have alot of reading to do yet about Swaminarayan Bhagwan.To believe someone as god they would want to recieve his love and love them back. They would know that for this to happen they would need to take refuge in his word. Follow this word as though its their everything.

You simply fail the very 1st Vachnamrut. Espeacially Vachnamrut 18. Here let me paste it up for you:


A man, however, demoralised he may be in his preinitiation days, should be explained the rules of Dharma before being initiated in this holy Sampraday, but once he is accepted he should behave according to the rules of conduct as prescribed for him, and if he violates those, he should be driven out immidiately, be he a male or a female. If he is not so driven out, he will bring in many miseries. Just as a finger which is bitten by a serpent is immediately be cut off for survival and the safety and a rotten limb is immediately operated upon, similiarly such a contaminated soul should be banished from the Satsang. I implore you to obey this order of mine implicitly and if you do so I shall feel fulfilled as if you have all carried out my mission, shall bless you all and shall always remain pleased with you, and shall command you all for admission to the divine abode of God. If, however, you do not act in accordance with this wish of mine, we shall be poles apart and you will be consigned to the region of evil spirits to suffer tortures. What ever fruits that you are likly to get as a result of your devotion, you will get, but after a long time, and even at that time your soul shall be released only, when you will obey this vital order.’
