Like the title asks, do you believe the gods are omnipotent and/or omniscient? Why or why not?

I don't not believe they are Omnipotent. From my experiences they are not every where at once. Though I do believe there is one Creature God, but it is just the Energy of Oder and Chaos, and just Create to create and is Omnipotent. But all the other beings are not.

Yes and no. Being agnostic, I am unsure of an objective God (except as a social force and symbol).
The God in My Head surely is. It is limited only by my imagination. Since my imagination encompasses all of my reality, this God has unlimited potential. (And can even microwave a burrito so hot, even It cannot eat it!) The God outside of My Head is unknown, so Its power is limited by my knowledge of it. It may be omnipotent, but it is already limited, as I am unsure of It. (Though, this may change with new information).

The idea of a Deity that has all their marks on the high end of the bell curve is improbable but not impossible. I would think that such a deity would be tied to infinity so much that interaction with humanity would be undesirable if not imposable. I would think that such an event belongs more to physical phenomena rather than being. I'm not a fan of the idea of "The One" who is the father or creator of everything and that all can be reduced to "The One." But in the end, I know nothing but have ideas of things. ![]()

To answer my own question, I don't believe the gods to be omnipotent. I view them like the ancient Greeks did, as human-type beings, and we are definately not omnipotent.
