Is it okay, in your opinion, to misrepresent, exaggerate or parody someone else's beliefs -- if it is done out of love? Is it justified to insult someone by telling him he's worshipping a false Christ and is going to Hell -- as long as your intent is to help him find the "true" Christ? Is hateful, judgmental behavior something that you feel God would condone, knowing that you're doing it for Jesus?

No. In the end, they will probably become more educated and realize their faith is based on lies that you fed them. Besides, I don't think God would be pleased that you thought sin was justified.

Katzpur was not referring to one faith or another, why do you have to bring our faith into discussion constantly?

You cannot serve two masters - you're either serving God or Satan. If you are misrepresenting or exagerating someone's beliefs, you are being dishonest. Satan is the father of all lies. I can't see how you can possibly do something for Jesus with Satan's playbook.

I answered 'no' and I answer 'no' to every one of your questions above. If one is motivated by love, ones words should be loving. Such words can sometimes be hurtful, but this should be an unintended side efect of trying to speak the truth, not a deliberate tactic. In other words, I have a great difficulty believeing those who claim that they say hateful words 'out of love'. If one really loves people one thinks are lost, one should pray for them and entrust them to God's mercy. He is far more merciful, i believe, than many Christians give Him credit for, and I'm sure that loving prayers will sway Him more than any amount of hateful diatribe. Look after your own sins and let God look after the others, to paraphrase St. Theophan the Recluse.

Slow down, Becky. Nobody mentioned our religion at all. The question was phrased in general terms and the answer was given in those same terms.
