What is a Jesus freak? If someone calls you a Jesus freak is a an insult or something you accept with pride? Which ever way you answer the last question, does your opinion change depending if a Christian or non-Christian says this to you? Who, is a Jesus freak in your opinion, and is being called one and/or being one a good thing or bad and why?

Yeah, if someone of my own faith suggests I'm a fanatic it gets to me, but I just shrug it off after a while..

I love being a Christian and studying all aspects of Christianity and love listening to contemporary and alternative Christian music.

What my friends used to call Jesus freaks were guys who looked like hippies, yet were Christians. I wouldn't be insulted by being called that.

I see this phrase as an insult and usually use it when referring to radical Evangelicals from the South. If you've ever seen the movie "Saved" you've got a pretty good idea of the stereotype I'm talking about.

I think it depends on who you ask. I am sure most atheists would call all of us Jesus freaks. Is it bad or good depends on the finger of the one pointing and it's intent.
I would err toward the side of being a badge of pride. At least others know what you believe in!
