See what I mean?. Faith in Christ alone will not save him/her. He/she must excercise faith unto repentance and obey that particular commandment to be saved from that sin. Christ sacrifice only takes affect when we repent (turn from our sins, whatever they may be). The next question would be: Are there varying degrees of salvation ??? We are not saved by works, we do works because we are saved.
That is the point that I was trying to make earlier. When a person is saved he becomes a new creature in Christ.
