Several members of RF are well educated, and I like to appeal to the common knowledge of RF quite a bit.
Several of you folks have studied special topics, and I wonder what they are. I'm currently working on a dissertation that addresses the NT authors and classical literature, so I know Greek pretty well and the social/philosophical setting of the New Testament. My special interest within this field is the role of food and fellowship in the Socratic philosophers and the Gospels and Paul. I can read several languages but Hebrew is a weak point, and I know a good deal about Christian theology.
