Radio Australia - News - Pakistan begins registering religious schools (ABC Radio Australia)
Pakistani authorities have begun registering thousands of Islamic schools. President Pervez Musharraf launched a drive in 2003 to reform religious schools, or madrasas, some of which are suspected of being breeding grounds for militants.
