What does it matter anyways if an atheist did kill a bunch of people? It's not like this is a choice on which side to take. Why do you try to make atheism look like some villain? Do you honestly think that will change our views?

And I highly doubt that Stalin was a worse person than theist dictators or leaders that have wiped out civilizations as well. I mean, does it really take a much more evil person to kill millions of people than thousands of people? Yea right. It just so happens that an evil atheist came to power and had the authority, the technology, and the manpower to orchestrate a larger number of killings than evil theists who did the best they could as well.

You're basically trying to say that the fear of hell is a good thing I guess, but I fail to see how this will affect the atheist's thoughts about the cosmos. In my opinion, the only reason to point out another beliefs flaws is to motivate fellow believers on your side to try and convert those on the other sides. Otherwise, all it does it separate people and get people aggravated.

and what does atheism have to do with anything? atheists are individuals connected by their lack of belief in a god. absolutely everything else besides that depends on the individual. some atheists are communists, other capitalists, some are pro others are anti abortion/gay marriage etc etc.

So then is the poster prepared to admit that Hitler was a christian?I love it when a christian does evil things, suddenly they want no part of him. If he does good things, then they come to take the credit. How nice! How come it doesn't work for others? Why should atheists take the blame for an evil mans' acts just because one aspect of his personality was atheism? If Stalin was left-handed then all left-handed people should take the blame?

Obviously one can't say just because Hitler was a christian, christianity is to blame. One needs to dwell deeper - what was the root reason for his hatred of jews? And let's remember Hitler alone did not do the killings - he had plenty of help from ordinary people. Where did this hate come from? The church! They nurtured this hate of jews from olden times and we see this hate even today - see Mel Gibson.

One of the greatest massmurderers in modern time was a theist, namely Hitler. Just as many, many of the previous massmurderers where. Thing is that in mordern time we have more technology and so, and therefor a better ability to do harm, such as industrially attempt to exterminate an entire people. Another factor is that Stalin rules over a huge land. If a theist madman ruled over the same amount of people, I have no doubt they could have killed just as many.

Conservopedia... I mean, who needs comedy? First paragraph on atheism ends with... can you guess? The theory of evolution! No wai! God doesn't exist, that's not important; heaven, hell, Jesus... irrelevant... Atheism causes... belief in evolution!
