God's life, or yours?
Would it be wiser to worry about one's self, before they commit their life to God? i mean
is the best belief to have in one's self before God? I am not stating that God is unimportant. But should you not worry about your everyday life in gemeral FIRST?

I think it's incredibly important to keep your "feet on the ground" as you search for truth and enlightenment. Make sure you don't neglect responsibilities such as school or work.
Other than that, being a servant to others is incredibly important no matter what path you choose. Put others first, and the rest will seem to fall in place.
