Pretty sure Jesus was a carpenter.

What does Messiah actually mean?

Yes he was.
But do you think He is Son of God? The Christ? |

What God? As far as i'm concerned Jesus was the poster boy used to reform Christianity as it was known (back then, a cult much like we see nowadays) into a means of controlling a rebelling and somewhat divided ROman population.

I'm sure he is -a- saviour, but I do not believe that he is the only saviour. I believe that God appreas to different people in different ways that is appropriate to the context. He guides everyone, no matter who they are and what they believe. If I see God in the Sun, then God will guide me as the Sun. If I see God as Vishnu (as I do) then He will guide me through this belief even if it turns out I'm wrong. He guides the aborigines, he guides the pagans, he guides the Christians. He is wonderful like that.

So you don't believe there is a God?

I should also mention that a number of Hindus compare Jesus with Bramha. Some of us believe that Krishna is a manifestation of God and that Jesus is a manifestation of the son of God (Bramha, born of Vishnu, creates the universe).
