Default Luke 14:26 misunderstood.
Luke 14.26

“26. If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and children, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”

I don't quite understand this. From a mild interpretation, it sounds like God is saying that one who does not hate cannot be his disciople?

What is implied here?

I guess basically it says that your love and devotion for Christ should be so great, that, comparitively, your love for all others would pale in comparison so much that it might seem as though you hate them.

There cannot be peace, without somesort of struggle. Whether it's meant as physical as war or simply an inner struggle that all men must go through, I'm not sure. I believe he would not want war, but that is how we tend to solve things anyway.
