Maybe the Spongebob incident will eventually force Dobson to "clean-up" his act. Sponges are cellulose. Dobson should have disected that word before he took on the Sponge, "cell u lose." Dobson could end up in the slammer for defamation of character. Seriously, though, I think this incident has done great harm to Dobson's credibility. And the more he tries to explain it away the worse he looks.

It is a blight on Christianity itself. It combines with Robinson and Falwell to show that some Christian leaders are not fit for Christ.

I suspect Dobson thinks the most serious problem facing the world today is the so called "homosexual agenda", whatever that is. It seems to get him very excited. Very hot and sweaty. Very.

B/c he wants first--perhaps sole--dibs on the gay porn. That, and I once heard a saying that the most homophobic people were gays that had repressed their sexuality....

My wife swears by his books, and I have yet to read them. I don't like "pat answers" when it comes to dealing with kids.

BTW, have you ever wondered how much deeper the ocean would be if we could get rid of all the sponges???

You know what would be the best ever? If it turned out that SpongeBob really WAS supposed to represent homosexuality, and if everyone was then just like, "Oh that's cool and original. It's nice to see gay support like that on TV." Dobson would be sputtering so hard we'd have to carry umbrellas for weeks.

That's pretty much the way I see it. So WHAT if SpongeBob is gay? No one is going to stop watching the show except for Dobson's posse.
