I've been trying to get this question right for a while.
I am wondering if you would belong to a group, including faiths/religions that you only partially agree with? For example: If you mostly agreed with what the Catholic Church taught, but didn't agree with say, praying to saints, would you still be a Catholic? It is not just faiths and religions but any group or club.

I don't but I know many do because of tradition. Growing up my family was Baptist because those who came before them were Baptists, not because they believed in Baptist doctrine. I left because I couldn't handle the hypocrisy of those in the church. Now I belong to a faith that expects you to NOT agree 100%

I am with one now; there are many parts of Hinduism which i do not agree with, but i find that take the good and leave out the bad you will be happy (-ish).

First off, I would never be part of any group based on an ideology.
That being said, I never really understood why people were part of organizations which had rules that they didn't agree with. The organization already exists - its rules already exist - the organization is defined by its rules. What's the point of identifying with the organization, when you don't want to accept all its rules? It always seemed rather nonsensical to me. |

Maybe I'm just awkward - but I cannot imagine any group or person exists that I would agree 100% with.

.. as an Israeli and a Jew, sometimes I feel like I've eaten a lot of horse manuar so to speak, I have been frustrated by certain aspects of ultra orthodox and others religious streams within Judaism, but at the end of the day, I have eaten all this manuar, and asked for some fries on the side, because im a fool for my culture/nation.I disagree with many many issues within my respective society, whether its politicians, certain elements within the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, and certain elements within the society itself, however, my friends and family are fellow Jews, like every other citizen here, whether male or female, I served in the same army, despite our large numbers in the secular sector, we find ourselves celebrating at least in a loose way the Jewish holidays. etc. at the end of the day, despite and maybe because of striving for individuality, being part of a group is as real as your inner disagreements within this group, its what makes the relationship between yourself and the group dynamic, alive, and authentic, if you are in 100% total and absolute agreement with your respective group, it is a sign of warning to other people, that its more than a bias, but something disturbing in the making; fanaticism, cult, and some form of extreme social phenomena in general. The degree of agreement must have limits, and there are times, when Im standing alone as a human being, with my own mentality, my own philosophies, my own interests and operating by the conscious and motives of my own personal character.
