The GOD/ LOVE Connection

Can we know GOD and not know LOVE? Can we know LOVE and not know GOD? Are the two connected in any way? If GOD is “all about the LOVE” as some people claim, can we encourage and define LOVE in our relationships without connecting it to GOD? Can our ability to recognize LOVE and practice it PROVE the existence of GOD? Can it be considered that people who do not understand GOD can in no way understand what TRUE LOVE is? When some people claim that GOD cannot be proven through scientific or tangible evidence and LOVE cannot be proven through scientific or tangible evidence why do some people believe in LOVE but do not make the same claim about GOD?

Some say that marriage starts with Eros(physical) love then progresses to Philaio(affectionate) love then on to Agape(spiritual)love.
By the time the couple gets to Agape they have found God(God is Love[Agape]) God Love is a tough Love! We in this new world order are to wishy washy and easy ,soft and lenient! Without "Agape" the highest form of Love we cannot know the fullness of God! Without God we cannot know the fullness of"Agape" love! Paradox? seek the Lord and you shall find Him......and Love!

Yes - fear of God can be known instead of love
Yes - love is distinct from God in many expressions of love
Yes - the connection to God is dependent on faith in God
No - there is no proof of God - only subjective evidence
No - there is a premise that God is love and is "true love" , whatever that is

When some people claim that GOD cannot be proven through scientific or tangible evidence and LOVE cannot be proven through scientific or tangible evidence why do some people believe in LOVE but do not make the same claim about GOD?

Faith in one thing does not confer faith in another. Each must separetly find acceptance and belief Having faith in the superstition that "stepping on a crack (on the sidewalk) would break my mothers back" or "a black cat crossing your path produces bad luck" can not produce faith in God or love.
