Does believing in GOD make him real? (hell, Jewish, verse)

Some people that believe in GOD have no "proof" but only say "If I believe in him, then he is real and this is truth" .

Some people would say "I believe I have a Bentley in my garage, but in reality there isn't, so me believing in something doesn't have bearing on truth."

Is there a common ground or is one person right?

I think there's a bit of a difference between G-d and a Bentley.
Whether or not believing in G-d makes Him real....I believe that whether you believe in a Divine force in the universe or not it is still there, call it whatever you want.

I looked into the theory of if you have a bently in your garage. First I went to the garage door and turned the handle and found it was locked. Darn it to hell I exclaimed. I knocked. No anwswer. But wait there is a window. Grabbing a chair I pulled it to the window stood up on it and peaked into the garage. For the love of whales on crack I exclaimed...some moron put foil over the window. I could not see in.

I know there is a a bently but maybe its not in this garage maybe it is in another garage. I got some shoes and ran across the street to the Jewish people's house. I looked in and no bently . Than Mr Goldsmith came out and said , "what the hell are u doing looking in my garage." I reminded him that as a jew he didn't believe in hell and he rolled his eyes. I asked him about the bentley and he said, its in the shop. What you think I keep in the garage year round. Hear tell you what I got this great book about bentleys I want you to read. By the time you finish it hopefully the bently will be back. Feeling inspired I took the book "all about bentley's " by rabbi autoresearcher back with me.

Crossing the street I notice my Islamic neighbor was not home. I ran up and peered into this window. No bently. But there was a note it said, " me and the bently went to mosque. be back later. "

I knew there was a bently out there somewhere. So I sat on my street and waited and waited and waited. Watching all the garages looking for a bently to appear and reading my borrowed book by rabbi autoresearcher.

A kid came by on his bike and said what you reading? I told him and showed him. He said, wow I have never seen a bently either. You haven't I asked happy to find another who had yet to find a bently but believed there could be one in the garage. Than he looked at me and said, you know what Robtex? What I said, Robtex, it is silly of you to read about bentley's if you have never seen one. You can read all you want and as many texts as you want but no amount of reading about bentley's is going to make that bentley appear out of nowhere. Golly you are right kid I said. I put the book down and watched and listend and waited for the bentleys to come out of the garage. The sun went up and it came down and up again.

I guess I can't say there isn't a bentley in the garage but I can't say there isn't a bentley anymore than there is a landrover. Sooner or later that garage door is gotta open right? I mean not everybody can just ride a bike to work.........

Replace God with (A) and Bentley with (B) . I was just trying to draw a picture.

God is not a physical object. God is more like Love. Whether or not Love exists independantly of my believing in Love, Love is not real to me unless I feel Love. In that sense my belief in God makes God real to me and merely a fairy tale to someone who does not believe.

The point he is trying to make is can believe what you cannot percieve with your 5 senses . If so in this case..how whatever answers you put down is why you believe in God. In the absense of proof via your 5 senses you have at this point deduced there is a God. What are those specfic deductions?

I simply felt something that i can't explain that has led me to believe there is some sort of divine force in the universe...i can't explain it in words it just this sensation i had....
Of course people will say that's not good enough...or that i'm fooling myself or whatever and that's fine that is their opinions
