What makes you think we were created, why did we have to be created? Because human beings are elevated than other creatures, they are the best of creatures and if we are the sons and daughters of monkeys then we are degraded and we no longer the best of creatures.
We do reject evolution because Allah told us in His holy book about our creation and how we were created:

[And [mention] when your Lord said to the angels, “Truly, I will create a man from clay. So when I have completed him, and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down prostrate to him.” And the angels prostrated, one and all. Save for Satan, who was too proud to, and disbelieved. He said to him, “O Satan, what prevented you from prostrating to what I have created with My two hands? Are you arrogant, or too exalted?” He said, “I am better than he; You created me from fire and created him from clay.”] (Saad 38:71-76)
What Darwins claimed is incompatible with the Quranic account of creation. Allah tells us that our first ancestor was Prophet Adam peace be upon him who was created by Allah in paradise not on earth.

And tell me why don't we see now in our present time monkeys evolve and become humans. Does that theory applied only to a certain past time and is no longer valid now?!

Evolution is not an overnight process. life as we know it today have come to be what it is through billions of years of evolution.
Evolution is not a magical process, its a slow process that is influenced through the genome and effects of the environment. I believe it is much more logical than believing we were created magically in a single event.

by the way it doesn't make you a 'daughter of monkey' if it in anyway makes you feel less of a human, humans and apes are not the same species.

Daughter of a monkey? I am pretty sure your father was a homo-sapien.

Evolution is a painfully SLOW process. Humans (in the form we are today) appeared almost 2.5 million years ago and we are not that different, except maybe mental evolution is quicker then physical. Evolution is a process that ALWAYS happening. As the needs for humans adjust, we adjust to work for that req. Your view of evolution is such due to ignorance. I suggest you a learn a little more about evolution before making such comments.

Actually, humans didn't come so much from apes (gorillas, chimps etc.). Apes and humans had a common ancestor which they evolved from seperately as I understand it. Gorillas etc. went one evolutionary way to what we see today and humans evolved another way into what we see today.

A few questions on your evolution answer

1) How does Quran account for the fact that we have characteristics in common with animals?
2) Are Muslims anti-scientific, as denying evolution from animals despite the overwhelming evidence is anti scientific?(even our DNA is virtually identical to animals we have evolved from)
3) If you accept everything in the Quran, do you also accept claims like, "Birds fly by the power of Allah", "The earth is laid out flat like a carpet", "the sun chases the moon and sets in the sea"?

4) As a female, what do you get in heaven? The male believers get 1000 virgins, what do the female believers get?
5) What do you think of the Quranic injunction that a woman should give her husband sex whenever he wants it?

ok Don. how did you become to be. did you evolve from a monkey of from bacteria. you were created in the woumb of your mother just as everyone else. so why is it stupid to say that you were created and isnted say you evolved.
and can you tell me from what you evolved. i'd like to know, since you've mentioned that alot.
