I think G-d has, in the past few centuries, become a more universal and caring G-d than he was before. I think, at least in most recent times, the Holocaust helped to bring that about as people realized that their views on Jews, often rooted in the anti-semetic teachings in christianity, were wrong. These sort of events forced many in christian communities, especially in the catholic church, to re-examine their views on the world and change thier docterines a bit, which changed their views on G-d. Hell there are some Preachers today who say that when Jesus comes back he'll be a Torah observant Jew!

HOPE pretty much said the same as I feel...God is the one constant in my life...He won't change and that's so reassuring when it seems as if everything around you does. You never know from one day to the next what will happen here in this world..but God is there, He will always be there, He won't care what the date is or the changes that go on He will remain constant in His Love for us, He will never abandon us....friends and family come into your life and go out of your life...your finances will go from one extreme to another...everything in your life can turn upside down and back again but God will remain the same. WHAT A RELIEF!!! He's someone you can count on in all that is good, bad or indifferent in your life.

Indeed, He was a harsh vengeful God back in the times of Genesis.

Will God "change" His ways to cope with the difficulty of the changing times? Will God be forgotten or changed by technology? Will His "ways" differ from many years ago to match the condition of current times?

Will He cease the tsunamis or other disasters from occuring? I know He is supposed to come to this world, but it may be too late soon..

It is a living experiment that we will all have the opportunity to grow from.

1)Basic premise. Man and God are not in perfect tune or harmony at this point in time.

2) age old question...did God invent man or did man invent God?

3) answer: if man changes to fit the paradign of God in the next century God invented man. If God changes to fit man man invented God.

Bigger question. Is the past a prologue to the future and if so in the 20th century historically did man change to fit God or God to man?

I see. Resourceful she is then.

Perhaps God is testing us, using this world as a testing grounds. Then, when He sees who has passed the test, He will reward them with the New World whence he "arrives".

Yes but in most instances He was always quick to forgive man.
I'm thinking more along the lines upon which people who sit up in front of a congregation (mostly in christianity) have portrayed G-d and our relationship to Him.
