We've heard a lot about how Christmas has been "degraded" into a "season" or "holiday". But I have yet to hear of the Christmas religious season being celebrated. The 12 days of Christmas are from Christmas to Epiphany and include the celebration of 3 Saint days.
Have those who complain about the treatment of Christ for the 25th of December been holding to the Christmas season? Well, have you? Have those that bemoan the "secularization" of the holiday season been degrading the religious season? Bob |
