How do we know He hasn't? The Old testament is a history of Israel and it's relationship with God, not a history of God's relationship with all people.

Look at Numbers chapters 22-25 where Balaam, a person who is not an Israelite, realizeds the power of God, realizeing that he "could not do anything contrary to the command of the LORD." I think we can gather from this that other nations realized that God was there if they were only willing to accept Him.

A simpler explanation might be that the Torah is myth, folklore, and propaganda.

That would be simpler, but that is not the issue at hand, Deut. This discussion is based on the supposition that it is true. And if it is true, then why did it only apply to certain people?

1)Because that is where God has begun his cycle of life.

2)There was perhaps no life on other planets at the time of God, or if there was, they could not spread the word of God.

3)God may be all powerful but HE is not a scientist.
