I'm kind of like Watcher - if God exists, he put the video in the VCR, turned the machine on, and is now either out in the kitchen making a snack, or in the bathroom, taking a whiz. If He exists, He certainly doesn't appear to be to interested in how the movie turns out.

You do not need flashy effects, intellectual dialogue, or convoluted plots. I will not walk out of the theater, nor will I abandon your creation. There's a scripture in the Christian bible that points to the heart as the place where the Mosaic Law, which is now defunct by the death of the messiah, is supposed to be where these Laws are inscribed. Maybe that's the source, no?

I have played many roles in this lifetime, human, male, boy, Italian, Spanish, caucasion, Catholic, student, paperboy, teenager, artist, Republican, musician/entertainer, lover, ordained minister, friend, adult, cashier, toll collector, actor, author,husband, father.

I think that GOD used the movie illustration to help me understand what it is like for Him to BE an observer. So wherever He resides He wanted me to know that He is watching. Even though GOD doesn't have to pay the $8.00 admission price to see our movie I think I understand why He is not critical or judgmental with our "performances".
