I think it's natural for it to seem gross at your age, Rearing Arabian, but when you get a little older you might more easily see the love that many homosexual couples share for each other. Love is pure and sacred, and not at all gross. Love redeems sex, and makes sex very special.

Yes, thank you. I want to look at my churches doctrin, and question it very much, to see if it is what I trully believe. However, I want to also look at it through the eyes of the Bible, if you understand what I'm saying by that. I don't want to make stuff up that is important to my religion, I want everything religios that I believe, or even think, to be based on the Bible, not a group of people.

I think you might find that the more you study the bible, the more you must think about how to interpret it.

I use to fell the same as you do. But, going into high school and being able to see so many different people with different beliefs, hobbys, interests etc, has made me more open to others. I personally, based on one of the Bible verses that someone kindly provided for me in here, am still against gay/les marrage. However, I see that we live in the United States, the country that allows freedom blah blah blah, so we must respect the right of gays and lesbians. I can legally get married to a man (I'm girl) and the other way around, then why can't a guy marry a guy, or a girl a girl. It is true that it is agianst my religion (from what I read here) to be gay/les, but I shouldn't impress my beliefs on others.

Now looking back, I can see why I was always agianst being gay/les, but I still don't understand how I saw it as grose. gay/les. relationships often last much longer then "strate" relationships do, they still love each other, we live in a country free of religios ideals/beliefs being forced on anyone or anything. We should respect that, for all, not just those that think like you do, but others also, like the ones who's relationships "are grose."

But I'm just a tired, 15-year old, conservative Christian, who is obsessive compolsive, and REALLY weird, so what do I know?

Yes, I have defently found that! I made a New Years resolution to do devotions every day last year, and I'm still following that resolution now. I have defently seen through my devotions how this is true. This is one reason why I think that I need to really look into this, if possable, on as much of a Christian base as I can. I'm making many attemps, so we'll see what the final outcome is....

But another thing that I have learned, is that when trying to interpret parts of the Bible, it's always helpful to compare it to other parts of the Bible, and to look at what is happening, how, when, and all of that.

I'm trying to interpret the Bible for myself, which is I geuss what my point is above; Instead of taking the Presbyterian's vew on everything. While doing this, however, I often find myself agreeing with the PCA's doctrin on many things.
