Do you believe in Ra? Zeus? Odin? Krishna? Set? Thor? Huitzilopochtli?
They all have very different tenets and demand very different things. We are all free to believe what we want but if you ever want to understand ME and my beliefs it may not be as easy as you seem to think it is.

Sure, Ra, Zeus, ... etc are all false gods
The search for the True God is where the right answer is to be found ... He is the One and Only Creator and Sustainer of the universe The origin of our human soul, and to Him one day it will return ...

Quote:
Try not to view death as a vacation. It is not. When you go away to vacation, you usually go to "get away." In death, it is the opposite. Death is a way to "come back." When you go on vacation, you usually go to relax, to escape responsibility. Death, again, is just the opposite. In death, you don't escape responsibility; you "live up to it." When you die, you are already at peace, but still quite a bit must still BE accomplished. Death is not heaven; it is not an eternal vacancy to MY kingdom. There are no chocolate rivers, golden gates, cloud beds, or peppermint trees like some have envisioned. When you arrive to this spiritual realm, K(NOW) that is as valid as any space in time or place you have ever occupied. In the spiritual world, a certain freedom comes with BEing detached from the constraints of a physical body. Then why ask? Quote:
I can’t (shouldn’t) accept this description because the same source in which this evidence originates also suggests that I work the belief towards a conclusion. BELIEVE EVERYTHING, I say! BUT…ACCEPT NOTHING! UNTIL – I repeat – UNTIL YOU HAVE PROVEN THIS BELIEF TO BE A TRUTH OR AN UNTRUTH. This method works for everything. HELLO IT’S ME: An Interview With GOD Chapter: Belief, Faith, Hope and Joy Pg: 164 Quote:
It would seem that whatever, whichever, whomever I do not or cannot remember that there is a source that can assist me in remembering when I forget or misunderstand. Few people actually REMEMBER early in their physical life what they set out to do or go willingly to their graves only then to REMEMBER what they have accomplished after crossing over. Many moments can go by in a human’s existence before he or she realizes “Hey! This is what I'm supposed to BE doing!" What you REMEMBER late in this life will help prepare you for the next incarnation. There is no way to know what happens when we die. Until of course it happens. However the accepted versions of heaven I have heard have no basis in reality and seem very unlikely. Quote:
Ok so mindless belief but acceptance only after you have proven it? Is that a fair interpretation? How did you then prove your belief about heaven? Not to me, but even to yourself? Quote:

I’m not sure that you have heard them all. For example if you compare my understanding of heaven and the afterlife to other religious descriptions, you will notice that I am not advertising a place of peace, I am not asking anyone to put faith in BEing comfortable, I am not promoting a judgmental God, I am not promising happiness, glory or holiness, the only thing I am depicting is that the spiritual realm is different from a physical existence. It is simply a place where everyone goes after death, a place where one can “hang their hat”. Quote:
I have nothing to lose in believing, except the belief itself. Quote:
Quote:
I didn’t prove this belief yet. This was the understanding that was specified to me. Quote:
And you have provided a valid scenario. My belief and understanding of the afterlife extends the decision for an individual to (a) stay in the spiritual realm, (b) reincarnate into another physical existence and it even offers the individual the choice to (c) permanently terminate one’s existence altogether. The choice is yours. Last edited by cardero; 10-02-2008 at 02:07 PM. |

Death is the non-existence of you. You will then be infinitely at rest with happiness and bliss.

I think when we become everything that we are capable of becoming we are in heaven
