I'm not against the principle of what they teach I believe it to be true. However what seems to have happened from this is that Christians are repeating the show word for word everywhere they go, I even had the pleasure of sitting through several church services of this teaching - again word for word following the words of Comfort and Cameron.

It's ok for street evangelism when talking to a group of strangers but it seems that every time I hear someone sharing their faith now it involves this checklist.

I wouldn't be offended. I'd say "I'm a good person sometimes, but not always." Because I can be a big jerk sometimes, and I know it.
