Christians, please give me some proof/evidence that Christianity is true. (choice, preacher)

I know there are plenty of people out there who follow a religion without seeing any proof or evidence. I've argued with those idiots plenty of times and I think its almost impossible to change their minds. I think we all agree that they are strongly deluded.

But I'm talking about the more intelligent Christians (like on here). I've heard plenty of people say on here that they would not believe without sufficient evidence. The problem though, is that I've heard Richard Dawkin's say over and over again, that there is not one shred of evidence that supports that Christianity is true. And I know, he knows what he is talking about. Now Ill admit, I have not searched for any evidence my self and I have just took Mr Dawkins word for it.

So, please provide me with some evidence which supports Christianity being true.

You might read Antony Flew's There Is a God. Flew used to be the world's most prominent atheologian. Indeed, he inspired the recent crop of atheologians including Dawkins. But has been convinced by science and reason that there is a god, and he's got some choice words for Dawkins, Dennett, et al. He's not a Christian by any stretch. He hasn't been converted. His newly adopted position is a rational one. So you might start there. If you can see some basis for movement after reading that, perhaps a specifically Christian argument might be appropriate.

Why?
The only evidence that will have any value, you will find yourself. In my opinion passively taking what someone else tells you as your own will never lead you to knowing anything worthwhile.

You've just gone and done what many people say Christians do with the bible. Some people will claim that Christians have heard their preacher say over and over again that here is what is true. And they know, that their preachers know what they're talking about. But they haven't searched for any evidence themselves, they've just taken their preacher's word for it.

If you haven't searched for evidence, how can you state there is none?

It's like saying cows don't exist after you spend a life of not looking for evidence of them.

Well coming on here in the first place is searching for evidence. I asked Christians to provide me with some evidence. I am now searching for evidence, that is the difference between me and those Christians who listen to their preachers.
I took his word for it because I know he would not lie over something like this and I have confidence in him, due to the fact that he has absolutely crushed every theist I have seen him debate with.

I haven't said that there is definitely no evidence. I said it "looks" like there is none (based on my search so far). Which leads me back to the original request. Please Christians give me some evidence. Surely there is some?
