Weapons of war will be destroyed (Ezekiel 39:9)

The Temple will be rebuilt resuming many of the suspended mitzvot (Ezekiel 40)

He will then perfect the entire world to serve God together (Zephaniah 3:9)

He will give you all the worthy desires of your heart (Psalms 37:4)

Does this not make Jesus the Messiah or does it make past Biblical writers false prophets?

Then again jews have a vested interest in viewing prophecy in a way that leaves out Jesus. Which came first: the chicken or the egg. Did Mary have a child as a virgin to fulfill prophecy or did someone dig for a prophecy to explain the virgin birth.

If you say the virgin birth was a fable then how can we trust what anyone said in the Bible? What shall we say then, that Moses didn't lead his people accross the red sea on dry land but built a thousand boats instead? (In the desert no less)

There is a two-fold problem here:

1. You pretend to know what all Jews believed at the close of the 1st century.
2. At issue is not what Jews believed but what the author of Matthew believed.

That is, indeed, the issue. Perhaps what is called for is a critical reading of the texts rather than fabricating excuses to explain the Virgin Birth in Matthew and its absence in Mark.

Yes: there were many of these, including a bunch that are commonly called "fulfilled" by most Christians!

Which is perfectly OK as these were in fact about the Second Coming, not the First, and we see them as fulfilled then by the same Spirit not under the name Jesus but under the new name that both the Jewish and Christian scriptures prophesied!

Plus... if they were false prophets... it wouldn't do the gospel writers any good to quote them.... because then they'd be relating Jesus to false prophecies.... which would inherently make Jesus a phony.
